Cookie Policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that sites visited by users send to their terminals or devices, where they are stored in order to be transmitted again to the same sites on subsequent visits. Cookies can be stored permanently (persistent cookies) on your device or have a variable duration; they can be deleted when you close your browser or have a duration limited to a single session (session cookies). Cookies may be installed by the Web Agency on this site (first party cookies) or by other websites (third party cookies).
Cookies can be managed by the user through their browser.
Types of cookies
According to the characteristics and use of cookies we can distinguish different categories:
- Technical cookies:
- those are used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service”. Technical cookies do not require the acquisition of consent, but must be indicated in the information notice.
- Prime and third-party analytical cookies: these are comparable to technical cookies only if:
- They are only used to produce aggregate statistics and in relation to a single site or mobile application;
- At least the fourth component of the IP address is masked for those of third parties;
- Third parties refrain from combining such analytical cookies with other processing (e.g. customer files or site visit statistics) or passing them on to third parties.
- Profiling cookies:
- those are aimed at creating profiles relating to the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when browsing the web; profiling the user’s tastes, habits, choices, etc. Profiling cookies are used to link specific actions or behavioural patterns recurring in the use of the functions offered to specific, identified or identifiable subjects, in order to group the various profiles within homogeneous clusters of different sizes, so that it is possible to send targeted advertising messages, i.e. in line with the preferences expressed by the user.
Third-party cookies: in the course of navigating on the site, the user may also receive on his terminal device cookies from different websites or web servers, which are set directly by operators of websites or servers other than the site. These cookies may be sent to the user’s browser by third-party companies directly from their websites, which can be accessed by navigating from the site. In such cases, the operator of this site is not involved in the operation of these cookies, the sending of which is the responsibility of these third-party companies.
When visiting a website, one can receive cookies either from the site visited (‘owners’), or from sites operated by other organisations (‘third parties’) e.g. the presence of ‘social plug-ins’ such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn and the like. These are parts of the visited page generated directly by these sites and integrated into the page of the host site. The most common use of social plugins is for the purpose of sharing content on social networks. The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites operated by third parties. The management of the information collected by ‘third parties’ is governed by the relevant policies to which please refer.
For the sake of transparency in relation to the social buttons/links on this site, the web addresses of the various cookie policies are given below:

Browser Settings
Users can manage their preferences regarding cookies through the functions present in common browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari), which allow them to delete/remove cookies (all or some) or to change the settings of the browser itself so as to block the sending of cookies or to limit them to specific sites (as opposed to others).
It is possible to find out how to configure the browser settings (usually accessible from the “Tools” bar) by going to the “Support” web pages of the providers of the aforementioned browsers (which can also be found using a common search engine). Disabling cookies does not in itself preclude the use of the Website’s services; however, if all cookies, including the technical ones, are deleted/blocked, some operations could not be performed or would be more complex and/or less secure, such as, for example, for performing activities within specific areas of the Website (in fact, cookies allow the user’s identification to be carried out and maintained during the session).
Treatment modalities
Your personal data may be processed by means of electronic computers with the use of software systems and will only be handled by personnel expressly authorised by the Controller and/or the person in charge and, in particular, by the following categories of appointees:
– Web technical representatives;
– Recipients of external supplier companies entrusted with technical services;
Dissemination
Your personal data will not be disseminated in any way.
Managing Cookies
You can decide whether or not to accept cookies by using the settings on your browser, however, the total or partial disabling of certain cookies may affect the use of the site’s functionalities.
Below are the links through which you can manage cookies:

Since each browser – and often different versions of the same browser – also differ considerably from one another, if you prefer to act independently via your browser preferences, you can find detailed information on the necessary procedure in your browser’s help file. For an overview of how to take action for the most common browsers, please visit www.cookiepedia.co.uk.
If you wish, advertising companies allow you to opt out of receiving targeted ads. This does not prevent the setting of cookies, but stops the use and collection of certain data by these companies. It is possible to disable each individual cookie from the links in the ‘cookies table’.
